Two comets,
Bright fires licking
And playing with the universe,
Their tails sparking
Laughter and hope,
Careened through space
From opposite galaxies
On collision orbits.
When they met
In a cosmic coitus,
Their orbits became one
As they wreathed
One around the other
In a spectacular, spiraling
Glow of love.
